Since 1956 the Evangeline Kennel Club has existed as an all-breed dog club whose members were dedicated to promoting purebred dogs and responsible dog ownership.
With the recent movement made by the CKC to allow non-purebred dogs to join the Canine Companion program we welcome the opportunity to encourage all dog enthusiasts to become members.
Annually, we host a weekend that involves four CKC recognized Championship Shows that draws exhibitors from across Canada and the USA.
We are currently on track to begin hosting CKC recognized Obedience and Rally-O Trials as well.
We frequently offer Puppy Socialization, Basic level Obedience classes, and Conformation Handling Practice.
We periodically host CKC Canine Good Neighbour (CGN) testing.
We also host various Health Clinics and Educational Seminars.
The club meets monthly except for July and August. The Evangeline Kennel Club welcome owners of mixed breeds to join our membership and encourage the dogs to be registered in the CKC Canine Companion Program so they can participate in exciting dog sports and participate in community service.
